Built in digital receiver

The built-in NTSC / ATSC / QAM tuner can receive over-the-air digital signals, standard cable channels and digital clear cable broadcasts. With the Gaming Mode feature, picture and audio quality of Toshiba 24SL410U TV are optimized by this option’s ability to sharpen images, enhance the sound of a game, enhance dark areas and speed up the image processing response. The Native Mode, on the other hand, will eliminate unnecessary scaling of full HD signals which reduce both the quality and the resolution of on-screen images and also restore the size of the image by the 3% to 5% generally lost during the TV’s over-scanning.

HDMI-CEC connector

The HDMI-CEC port allowed us to connect the TV to our digital games and components via a single cable; moreover, the remote of this device easily communicated with a DVD player and a PC which we connected through the HDMI port. The USB port then helped us share music and photos with friends. Finally, we used the PC input when we wanted to connect our computer to the Toshiba 24SL410U in order to enjoy a big screen viewing experience.
One thing that disappointed us when we tested this device was its audio performance: it was really bad and turning the volume up was no good.
